Krissy Rybicki (She/her)

Movement and breath have changed Krissy's life over the course of the last few decades, and she suspects they won't ever stop. Drawn to yoga in 2006, Krissy first developed a practice in a basement with a teacher that solely played ABBA, and she never looked back. Krissy holds a Master's Degree in Dance Education from New York University, and a 200-hour yoga certification through Karuna Yoga School under the direction of Amber Green. She is currently pursuing a 300-hour certification at Back Bay Yoga Union under the direction of Tim Kelleher, Caitlyn Visconte, and Emily Jonas, with additional training under Erica Bornstein and Sandy Klemmer, as well as a Katonah Yoga Certification. Teaching since 2017, Krissy finds home in the studio, exploring how the creation of shapes and expansion of the body leads to further knowing of the self. Krissy's class focuses on alignment, requires presence with the whole self, and hopefully brings levity as our humanness is revealed on the mat.

Outside of the studio, Krissy is the Coordinator of Special Education at a Boston Public School in Dorchester. She also teaches dance and is a sought-after resource for inclusive and adaptive dance practices and programs. Previously, Krissy taught dance and yoga in New York City and Chicago.
